Azerbaijani delegation participated in the World Environment Day 2025
Azerbaijani delegation led by Mrs. Umayra Tagiyeva, Deputy Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Azerbaijan, participated in the World Environment Day 2025 organized on June 4-5, 2025 in Jeju island of the Republic of Korea.
Mrs. Umayra Tagiyeva delivered statements at the High-Level Ministerial Roundtable for Action towards Circular Economy, organized by the Ministry of Environment of the Republic of Korea.
Ambassador Ramin Hasanov attended, together with Mrs. Umayra Tagiyeva, World Environment Day 2025 Welcome Dinner, hosted by Mr. Oh Young-Hun, Governor of Jeju Special Self-Governing Province.
Azerbaijan took over as the next host country of World Environment Day to be celebrated on June 5, 2026 in cooperation with the United Nations Environment Programme.
