The Commander of the Naval Forces of the Republic of Azerbaijan paid a working visit to the Republic of Korea

On September 5, 2016 delegation led by the Commander of the Naval Forces of the Republic of Azerbaijan paid a working visit to the Republic of Korea at the invitation of the Commander of the Naval Forces of the Republic of Korea.

During the framework of visit, the Commander of the Naval Forces, Captain 1st rank Hijran Rustamzadeh met with the commander of the Naval Forces of the Republic of Korea.

Sides discussed the issues of cooperation between the naval forces of the two countries, stressed the importance of mutual exchange of experience and exchanged views on a number of issues at the meeting.

He invited his counterpart to take part in Azerbaijan International Defense Industry Exhibition 2016 held in Azerbaijan on October 27-30, 2016.

On September 6, 2016 the delegation visited Jinhae district of Korea, met with the Chief of Korea Naval Academy and took part in the submarine (2014 class) tour.

Commander Hijran Rustamzadeh visited Busan - largest port city of the Republic of Korea.

On October 7, 2016 Captain Hijran Rustamzade visited Hyundai Heavy Industrial Complex and Shipbuilding Company in Ulsan city.
