Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the Republic of Korea H.E. Mr.Ramin Hasanov has presented his credentials .

Describing the Republic of Korea as one of Azerbaijan’s main strategic partners in the region, ambassador Hasanov noted that Azerbaijan attaches great importance to cooperation with the Republic of Korea. The diplomat hailed bilateral cooperation between the two countries in political dialogue, economic, humanitarian and other spheres, emphasizing the intensive level of relations between two countries’ peoples.

Ramin Hasanov emphasized that there is a great potential for further enhancement of relations between the two countries, expressing Azerbaijan’s readiness to take joint steps together with Korean partners in this regard.

President Yoon Suk Yeol congratulated Ambassador Ramin Hasanov on his appointment, expressing his confidence for dynamic development of relations between Azerbaijan and the Republic of Korea during Ambassador’s tenure. President Yoon Suk Yeol said that the Republic of Korea would spare no efforts for development of bilateral relations with Azerbaijan, as well as ensuring peace and prosperity in the world. He also described Azerbaijan as South Korea’s significant partner.
