Azerbaijanis living in Seoul have organized a peaceful protest in capital Seoul on April 8, 2016

Azerbaijanis living in Seoul, along with the members of “Buta” Azerbaijan-Korea Student Organization have organized a peaceful protest in capital Seoul on April 8, 2016 in connection with the situation as aresult of provocative acts by Armenian armed forces in the line of contact starting from April 2, 2016. 

The main objective of the protest was drawing attention of korean society to the flagrant vilotaions of cease-fire regime and international law by Armenian armed forces, provocative attempts of armenian occuping forces and a number of civilians casualties in the line of contact.

In the protests organised in Youido, area of Seoul city, around 40 azerbaijani, turkish, malasian and korean students took part. During the protest “Armenia is an aggressor”, “Leave our territories”, “Karabakh is ours and will remain ours”, “World community must condemn Armenian aggression” slogans were shouted out.

2016년 4월 2일부터 아르메니아 군대의 전선 포격 도발로 인해 발생한 사건과 관련하고 BUTA 아제르바이잔 한국 학생 연맹은 한국에서 거주하는 아제르바이잔인들과 함께 4월 8일에 한국 수도 서울시에서 평화 행진을 진행했다.

평화 행진의 목표는 최근에 아르메니아 군대에 의해 휴전협정하고 국제 법과 규범에 위반, 또한 아제르바이잔의 접경 지대에서 아르메니아 점령군의 도발 행위와 민간인이 살해를 당함으로 인해 발생한 사건에 대한 한국 시민들의 주의를 끌게 하는 것이었다.

서울시 여의도에서 진행된 행진에 40여 명의 아제르바이잔, 터키, 마레시아와 한국 학생들이 참가했다. 평화행진 시에 학생들이 ‘아르메니아는 침략국이다’, ‘우리 땅에서 군대를 철수하라’, ‘카라바흐는 아제르바이잔 땅이다’, ‘국제사회는 아르메니아의 침략행위를 비난하라’와 같은 구호들을 외쳤다.
