The delegation of State Agency on Mandatory Health Insurance of the Republic of Azerbaijan visited Korea.

The delegation led by Mr. Zaur Aliyev, Executive Board Chairman of the State Agency on Mandatory Health Insurance of the Republic of Azerbaijan visited Korea on 1-5 May 2023.

During the visit, the meetings were held with Dr. Kim Young-ok, Executive Director and Vice-President of Korea Health Industry Development Institute (KHIDI), Mr. Suh Byungsoo, Head of Korea-Azerbaijan Parliamentary Friendship Group of National Assembly, Ms. Jung Chounsook, Chairwoman of Health & Welfare Committee of National Assembly, Mr. Jae-ryong Hyun, Acting President of National Health Insurance Service (NHIS), Mr. Jung-gu Kang, President of Health Insurance Review & Assessment Service (HIRA) to discuss future cooperation prospects.

Furthermore, in the framework of the visit, the Memoranda of Understanding were signed with the NHIS and HIRA.
