Azerbaijan's Ambassador to Mongolia presented his credentials
On November 17, 2023, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Mongolia Mr. Ramin Hasanov visited the State House in Ulaanbaatar, the capital of Mongolia, in order to present his letter of credence to the President of this country.
The honor guard lined up in front of the State House performed the national anthems of Azerbaijan and Mongolia.
Ambassador Ramin Hasanov presented the letter of credence to Mongolia's President Mr. Ukhnaagiin Khurelsukh.
Ambassador conveyed the greetings and best wishes of President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev to the President of Mongolia. The Ambassador noted that Azerbaijan attaches great importance to cooperation with Mongolia, adding that he would spare no effort in deepening relations between the two countries based on ancient historical roots. The diplomat said that the two countries enjoy great potential for the development of ties in political, economic, cultural and other areas.
Mongolian President Ukhnaagiin Khurelsukh congratulated the Ambassador and wished him success in his activities. He also asked the Ambassador to communicate his greetings and best wishes to President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev.
Ukhnaagiin Khurelsukh expressed his confidence that the activities of Azerbaijan's Ambassador would contribute to the strengthening of cooperation between the two countries, adding that the President’s Office and the Government of Mongolia were always ready to support the Ambassador`s activities.
The President of Mongolia said that his country was interested in continuing cooperation with Azerbaijan both in bilateral format and within international organizations.
Following the ceremony, Ambassador Ramin Hasanov exchanged views on bilateral relations with Mongolian Foreign Minister Ms. Battsetseg Batmunkh.
