Ambassador Ramin Hasanov paid a visit to Korea's Daejeon Metropolitan City

On 8 April 2024 Ambassador Ramin Hasanov paid a visit to Korea's Daejeon Metropolitan City.

Ramin Hasanov met with Dr. Jang Woo Lee, Daejeon Metropolitan City Mayor, to discuss matters of mutual interest, including sister city partnership, promotion of people-to-people contacts and cultural exchanges.

He also had a meeting with Dr. Jeong Tae Hee, President of Daejeon Chamber of Commerce & Industry. They conversed about economic-trade cooperation perspectives, as well as investment opportunities in Azerbaijan’s territories liberated from Armenian occupation.

Ambassador Ramin Hasanov visited the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) and held discussions with Prof. Dr. Kwang Hyung Lee, KAIST President, and Prof. Dr. Man-Sung Yim, KAIST Vice President, to deliberate about academic-scientific and R&D collaboration prospects with Azerbaijani universities and industrial clusters.

Azerbaijan's Ambassador conducted interactive meeting with Azerbaijani students studying at KAIST, one of world’s top-ranking universities in IT and engineering domains. The Embassy has arranged mobile consular service for Azerbaijani students of KAIST.
